感恩之路 - RIP Mr Lee Kuan Yew

It is his foresight that helped us sustain our livelihood supply. 

lt is his perseverance that shaped a successful Singapore for us. 

It is his fatherly traits that encourages us to strive and learn. 

Thank you for all you have done for us. 一路走好. 

Visited Mr Lee's Lying in State at Parliament House, the 感恩之路 was nothing compared to what he has done for us, and that was my last respect that i can pay to him. 

26&27March2015- I woke up 2am, 3am, 4am to check the Q "psi" to pay respect was 8hours. Procrastination and tiredness deter me from going. And decided to go on 27March2015, after my ACCA F5 class

27March2015- After my class, we decided to go at 3am. Little did we expected that Q will be suspended! I did expect the Q to b super crowded and was prepared & equiped to go against all odds. My heart aches and felt so regretful that I didn't go earlier as wanted to. I blamed myself that why I didn't stand by what I want to do and just do it. 

28March2015- Disheartened we planned to go Tampines Tribute site to penned our tribute to Mr Lee but filled with regrets that it's not a send off if I don't go bow to him personally. God really loves me, and granted my prayer. @11am Sis Wen told me her friend was there now @Padang was quite empty. Immediately we finished our brekie hastily and cheong down to Padang. 

We reached City Hall at 1215h and managed to pay our respects to him at 1450h. Throughout the route to Parliament Hse, we received many TLC from ground officers and volunteers giving out drinks, food, umbrellas/ poncho and encouragment & announcement to guide & help us. Feel so thankful and grateful to them. 

There is not enough words to express my sad and gratitude feelings. I really wished that I have know more about him earlier and more grateful earlier before he is gone. I will share with my children how great he is and his history on building SG. Without him, we won't be living in this peaceful, prosperous, clean and security place we called Home.

Hong & Me were like super excited and puzzled as if we realli striked lottery. AV is currently 7days late and though planning is on the way but was meant for zodiac Monkey bb. 😁😁 and it is still like a try try thingy. 

Tdy i juz realized AV is late and placebo effect i think all pregg symptoms like starting to kick in. We start discussing and sourcing around for preggie food to eat/avoid and female gynae.  

 

And the funni part is all juz happened on our anniversary date. Yes juz 5D ago, but webby said not crazy to b felt preggie. hahaaa..

Ano week of anticipating, food & drink curfews are still ongoing, guessed this is the min what responsible parent should do ;)😉 can't drink chrysanthemums while feeling heaty tdy. 

Both are us still feeling crazy yet excited to know the truth. Lotsa planning is on the way and in the minds, hoping that it can slowly be fulfilled.
